Maxim Zavialov.
Maxim Zavialov is a Russian Instagram photographer. He is well-known for his concept of capturing a Polaroid image (usually with a human subject featured) and would hold it up against the real life scene, where he took the Polaroid, and would take another photo using an iPhone. He would then upload the finished image to the social media platform: Instagram. I particularly like this concept because I think that it links well with my ‘The World Around Us” theme because most of Zavialov’s images are taken outside, and in the natural world. I also find his concept interesting because it represents the concept to time and how ”even in the same place something new is always happening” (as Zavialov says).
